The Clinical Documentation Improvement Program (CDIP) Administrative Director is a key position within the organization. This role provides system wide administrative and operational oversight to the Cooper Health Care CDIP, both for inpatient and professional billing, as well as serving as the point of contact for strategic planning and execution, and operations related to clinical documentation.

The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.
In a CAP-accredited laboratory, perform waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing while ensuring accuracy and timely results through adherence to QC and QA methodologies. Maintain a strong focus on detail, reference ranges, and clinical relevancy. Assist with specimen receiving, respond to pneumatic tube requests, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills. Exhibit flexibility by working in all lab sections as needed.
