The Registered RN is a professional caregiver, who as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

This role requires rotating through all locations (Camden, CDHI, VSC, MSC, and all others as assigned).
Anesthetic Locations: Main Operating Room in Camden (30-bed) with 100 average daily caseloads. Multiple Camden outside of OR sites (OB, GI, EP Lab, TEE, Neuro IR, Bronch, Pain, IR, MRI, PAT Clinic, Trauma/Emergency Alert responses), Cooper Digestive Health Center (4-bed) & Voorhees Surgery Center (5-bed), Moorestown Surgery Center, and others as assigned.
This role requires rotating through all locations (Camden, CDHI, VSC, MSC, and all others as assigned).

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.
Oversee operation of Boiler Room, including but not limited to
- Scheduling 24/7/365 coverage
- 24/7/265 operation of Boiler Plant
- Performing and scheduling of all required Maintenance
- Performing and scheduling all NJ State required Inspection of Pressure Vessels
- Pressure Vessel licensure renewal / maintenance includes all Boilers (3), Chillers (4)
- Maintain Inventory and all associated paper work required by State of New Jersey for all pressure vessels
- Schedule and “triage” all emergency repairs to Boiler / Chiller Plants on campus
- Front line supervisor of all licensed stationary engineers (7) ( performance evaluations, etc)
- Maintain required licensure to operate boiler plant (Blue Seal minimum / Red Seal for supervisor) Gold seal is required within 2 years of hire date.
- Participate in future capital planning
- All other duties as required
The Child Life Specialist will assess the psychosocial needs of patients and their families to offer and implement supportive, therapeutic interventions such as preparation for health care encounters, procedural support and coping strategies, and opportunities for various types of play.
The Child Life Specialist will be an advocate for pediatric patients and visitors and serve as a resource for other hospital staff in areas of child development, family-centered care, trauma-informed care, age appropriate and developmentally appropriate interactions, and bereavement support.
