The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary
health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a
designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the
nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
Follows established policies and procedures.
Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management
and physicians.

Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab doing procedures.

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.
Set-up starter station with trays, flatware, napkins, condiments, etc. Clean area according to cleaning checklist. Work starter/assembler/ checker station for patient AYR room service. Assist co-workers as necessary. Put non entree' items on patient tray per ticket order. Highlight those items put on tray ticket. Set-up expediter area with par-stock items. Provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, resources referrals, to facilitate discharge plans, and/or adjustment to illness, and complex discharge planning for patients and their families. Formulates the discharge plan with patient, families and the care team based upon a needs assessment.
Coordinates appropriate referrals to home care agencies, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, and community based programs.
Coordinates care authorization process with insurers. Coordinates specific details of patient’s hospitalization with Utilization Management department to ensure appropriate admission status.
The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Program Administrator supports multiple functions of the GME training programs and serves as the liaison for the external entities by assisting with day-to-day management of resident or fellow training programs within GME. Ability to demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and problem-solving skills in applying a detailed knowledge of responsibilities in organizing and independently prioritizing work. Provides a specialized service requiring an understanding of relevant practices, policies, procedures,and compliance oversight.The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, administrative and writing capabilities. He/she must also exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise in computers and database management is required. He/she will be able to handle confidential information and will exercise good judgement with respect to the generally sensitive nature of material related to residents and students.

Responsible for answering phones and questions proficiently, and triaging calls which
cannot be answered and, therefore, require further assistance.
Provide escort (wheelchair assist/walking assist) to department and/or coordinate escort services with Patient Transport.
Distribute map and information for amenities, visiting hours and parking. Assist with all deliveries.
Offer clear directions, call taxi cabs, print info from Internet as requested, such as bus schedules, health system programs, etc. promoting a concierge type service.
Insures all customer needs are being met offering assistance when necessary or
requested.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.
