The Senior Buyer will play an integral collaborative support roll in day-to-day procurement of medical devices and disposables to support the health systems patient care and patient satisfaction needs. The Senior Buyer will be responsible for daily transaction management to facilitate adequate supply flow from over 1,400 suppliers and 45,000 active SKUs. The Senior Buyer will possess a service mindset with emphasis on proactively managing, observing, and acting upon supply demand trends. A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize various tasks throughout the workday is preferred to achieve adequate results and avoid supply gaps, stockouts and rush orders. - Responsible for setting up the patient in the exam room  - Perform and Document: -

The Phlebotomist/EKG technician is the primary person responsible for: a. Collecting laboratory specimens and performing EKG’s on patients treated in the outpatient setting, including off site locations and nursing homes b. Collecting laboratory specimens from hospital inpatients. Patients range in age from newborn through older adult.

- Conduct follow-up interviews with patients &/or families to ensure accurate demographic and insurance coverage -in person &/or over the phone. - Use of all modes of electronic insurance verification tools -RET, portals such as Availity, Navinet, Pear, Passport, insurance websites as well as telephone or fax verifications. - Process all virtual insurance card submissions - Potentially obtain point of service collections over the phone and/or in person - Confirm compliance with all required forms. Such as Hospital consent to treat, CMS IMM, CMS MOON, NJ OBSERVATION, NJDOB. - Must be able to work independently with strong organizational skills and the ability to improvise. - Support working the follow up WQs

 Financially clears scheduled inpatient and outpatient services, including office visits, testing, diagnostic studies, surgeries and procedures, prior to date of service. Financial clearance process encompasses any or all of the following job functions: •Verifies insurance eligibility and plan benefits. •Contacts patients with inactive insurance coverage to obtain updated insurance information •Validates coordination of benefits between insurance carriers. •Explains insurance plan coverage and benefits to patients, as necessary. •Secures insurance authorizations and pre-certs for patient services both internal and external to Cooper. •Creates referrals for patients having a Cooper PCP. Contacts external PCPs to obtain referrals for patients scheduled with...

 Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team. Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
