The Program Manager of the Cooper Heart Institute (CHI) will serve as an extension of CHI and Inspira Health Network physician and administrative leadership to execute and maintain strategic and operational initiatives tied to the Cooper and Inspira Cardiac Care joint operating agreement (JOA). This will include all Cardiac services in the inpatient and outpatient setting at various Cooper and Inspira sites. Overall focus will be centered around quality/patient safety, people, patient experience, and finance & growth.
Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner.
Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, proper utilization of body mechanics, adherence to policies, procedures and standards established by Hospital, Department and Regulatory Agencies.
Acts as a positive role model and team player demonstrating hospital mission and values.
The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.
Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator is responsible for assessing, developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for perioperative personnel to maintain competency, continuing education, and leadership development. The Perioperative Services Educator/Program Development Coordinator functions as an instructor, coordinator and clinical resource to the staff and various OR locations within Cooper Heath System.

Scheduling:
- Efficiently schedules and coordinates meetings and conferences.
- Schedules patient transports and acts as a contact person for outside contracted transport companies.
- Tactfully and professionally interacts with multiple offices, staff, families, and patients.
- Requests various documentations and assures complete information reaches the required location(s) in a timely manner.

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy.
Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life, safety, fire and hazardous waste requirements, Radiation Safety, Infection Control requirements.
Maintains Licensure, participates in C.E.U’s. Performs Ultrasound procedures (Portables, E.R., General, and Vascular).
Maintenance of equipment/supplies, maintains paperwork associated with job function.

Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, performs various testing, assists provider etc.)

Participates in Departmental on-call tequirements.
Respond to all documentation inquiries related to but not limited to: Coding, charge entry
inquiries, IDX registration, scheduling, professional billing, customer service, physician
support services.
Monitors all missing charges for designated areas.
Provides problem resolution and analysis reports as required.
Effects continuous quality improvement in all requests for additional documentation and registration information.
Responsible for verifying insurances for designated areas and following up as needed.
Dietary Helpers are scheduled so that all essential tray line and sanitation positions are
covered with properly trained personnel.
Prepares the tray line assignment sheet (line-up) for each tray line checked.
