Neuro Radiographer will support the expanding technology needs of complex Neurosurgery and Neurologic diagnostic and intervention procedures in the Neuro lab and hybrid Surgical suite. Otorhinolaryngology (and other services as needed) cases in the operating room. This clinical / technical position will be hands on with the multiple imaging / navigations systems (Brain lab, Stealth, Fusion, Vison Sense, VTI) used to guide surgeons in complex head and spine procedures as well as ultrasound and injector technology used for Vascular and Neurologic diagnostic procedures and interventions. The Technologist will assess technology needs for the day related to CPT codes and procedures scheduled and ensure equipment readiness. They will proactively manage schedules, identifying needs and conflicts for technology. Pre procedure activities will include, pulling or loading of images into the systems so they are available as reference during the procedure. Intra-procedural activities include and are not limited too, operating specialized equipment, familiarity of specialized supplies for use in diagnostic and interventional procedures Post procedure activities will include the movement of data from the navigation system, management of equipment within the physicial space. – folders, database, etc.  The technologist is responsible for monitor inventory and replacement of specialized  supplies The technologist role contributes to successful execution and has a significant impact on surgical, diagnostic and interventional procedures including, assisting in troubleshooting and use of complex equipment intraoperatively thereby allowing surgeon to remain focused on the patient; performing post procedure processes also allowing the surgeon to remain with the patient, minimizing scheduling conflicts, and decreasing delays due to parallel processing   Responsibility - Operates radiology equipment using proper techniques and patient positioning to produce high quality images - Maintains radiology equipment and troubleshoots service problems and makes necessary service calls and communicated any issues to incoming staff - Greets patient, identifies self and interacts with patient to gain trust and insure patient support .  Explains procedures to patient prior to exam • Performs procedures consistent with section protocols Monitors patient status, tolerance, well-being, and safety throughout and after procedure • Always verifies patient identity prior to exam and insures preparation of room for procedure prior to patient arrival • Aids radiologists, doctors and other UPHS team members in completing procedures according to applicable protocol • Responds to emergency situations according to department/hospital policies • Ensures patient safety using binders and safety aides at all times - Performs quality assurance testing consistent with section protocol - Operates ancillary equipment needed to perform examination and take care of patients needs - Stays current with new technology and procedures consistent with section protocols - Responsible for supporting neurosurgery and ENT operating room cases that utilize the Stealth® and Brain Lab Systems®, Fusion, Vision Sense and VTI - Set up neuro/oto cases by loading and merging of images in multiple systems and pre use check of all imaging equipment - Intraoperatively, this position will perform registration routines (computerized mapping of the surgical site). After registration, the tech will merge the mapping with the previous scans to complete the imaging plan. • Saves and maintain the repository for stealth scans, download and maintain a database of videos and images from the microscope, O-arm and multiple navigation systems, and edit images/ videos as needed. • Performs post processing for all angio/ interventional procedures and maintains appropriate data storage - Ability to troubleshoot and assistant surgeons with technical issues related to the systems and the case

The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the daily operations of the clinical unit while supporting unit alignment with organizational mission, vision, and goals. - Support and maintain successful unit-based throughput efforts through the facilitation of appropriate and timely bed assignments resulting in fair, safe, and balanced clinical workloads for all clinical team members. - Ensure that all available resources are utilized in an efficient, effective, fiscally responsible manner that supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care to all patients. - Identify, implement, and support the deployment of evidence-based interventions designed to maximize successful input, throughput and output-related processes. - Support staff engagement by serving the unit in a consistent, supportive, compassionate, and nurturing manner. - Facilitate the successful and appropriate allocation of clinical resources through preemptive planning while also demonstrating the ability to execute safe and clinically appropriate strategies to address urgent and emergent clinical needs. - Serve as a role model/mentor empowering all clinical staff to identify innovative solutions to address patient needs while ensuring all clinical staff receive the support needed to practice in alignment with the full scope of their clinical role. - Support and empower the clinical team in the implementation of successful evidence-based practice changes in effort to address opportunities for improvement that are identified through quality, process, and performance improvement efforts. - Ensures the delivery of quality patient care through the coordination of organizational priorities at the direction of the Clinical Director. Assists the Clinical Director in coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care. - Lead the collaboration of inter-professional care teams to achieve successful clinical outcomes for all patients. - Identify and support the elements of improved care quality including, improvements in nursing sensitive care quality indicators (NDNQI), effective care coordination, mitigation of gaps /omissions in care, prevention of potential errors from reaching the bedside.

Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Attends greater than 80% of staff meetings to staff informed and supports initiatives.

Reporting to the Director of Radiology, The Manager of Interventional Radiology will provide effective leadership and direction to the IR department, promoting a collaborative and cohesive work environment. The manager shall oversee team recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to foster a skilled and motivated workforce. Implement strategies to enhance team satisfaction, engagement, and retention. Obtains appropriate documentation from technical staff as well as participate in Primary Sourcing to ensure team are in compliance with State, National Accrediting Agencies, as well as compliance with all of Cooper’s policies and corporate compliance requirements to include Annual Safety Training, PPD, Fit Testing and safety across the continuum.   Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care and optimize workflow. Participate in interdepartmental meetings and committees to drive collaboration, address challenges, and improve overall patient and staff experiences. Implement and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality standards. Ensure adherence to Joint Commission standards and regulatory compliance.  The manager will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations across all areas of oversite.

This position requires flexibility and the ability and readiness to work beyond the normal hours. It also requires the ability to handle ambiguity in work plan definition and the ability to adapt to change. May require supervisor to perform clinically, imaging patient if there is a critical need for coverage.    Prepares staffing plan, reviews and approves work schedules to ensure adequate 24 hour staff coverage. Projects staffing needs, flex staff when needed to work within metrics; interviews and assist with hiring the right employees to fill vacant positions. Monitors patient care and analyzes patient care patterns and initiates quality improvement procedures and initiatives to enhance patient services; ensures a safe, diagnostic/therapeutic environment. Initiates patient placement to ensure the delivery of optimal patient care and arranges for continuity of care when warranted by patient condition. Complets annual staff evaluations. Oversees training and competency of all new hires and completes 90 day probationary evaluations. Clarifies performance expectations with employees and provides ongoing feedback, to staff, on a regular basis.  Develops competencies for staff members and ensures that all staff are competent in all aspects of department positions. Adresses inappropriate behaviors or actions by conducting coaching sessions of staff in a direct and confidential manner. All progressive discipline of staff members reviwed with the Manager or Director. Will serve as content expert for staff and administration by resolving/answering technical issues or concerns which may arise. Serves as point person for completion of ACR Accreditation applications and submission of images and QA documents for all Cooper MRI departments. Provides clinical oversight for MRI protocols and infection control as it relates to high level disinfection. Completes payroll responsibilities in Kronos, and ensures that Support individual and departmental achievement through strong and effective employee enganement and the use of recognition methods. Performs rounding on all staff employees.  Responsible for ensuring department operates within or under budgetary guidelines in regards to staffing and expense management Ability to respond and investigate EARS reporting incidences. Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team. Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.

The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech works collaboratively with the Centralized Monitoring Room and inpatient units to follow policies and procedures to help the departments function more efficiently in telemetry monitoring of patients.  The Telemetry Equipment Distribution Tech is responsible for the tracking, delivering, retrieving, and cleaning of equipment to ensure safe monitoring and care of our patients.     - Delivering, retrieving, cleaning, and storage of telemetry packs according to established policies and procedures.  - Adjusting telemetry leads and battery replacement to ensure proper rhythm capture/recording. - Inventory tracking. - Participation in performance improvement activities
