The Division of General Pediatrics has five outpatient practices that provide family centered pediatric primary care across Camden, Gloucester and Burlington counties. The Division of General Pediatrics is currently looking to hire a full time General Pediatrician to provide coverage for well child and sick visit care, in addition to well-baby nursery care. Candidates should be interested in clinical care, teaching, and advancing their academic careers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of teamwork, ability to care for a diverse patient population, excellent communication skills, an interest in academics, and most importantly a compelling desire to share our mission “To Serve, To Heal, To Educate.”

Responsible for all aspects of the Centralized Authorization & Scheduling Team (CAST), including scheduling, insurance authorizations and referrals, and monitoring the accuracy and quality of the work performed by CAST staff, including phone calls. Collaborates with the manager to ensure optimum patient, provider, and staff satisfaction. Maintains and consistently follows (and ensures staff follows) established policies and procedures.

Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of medications.) Provides health assessments, preps for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and performs various testing to include,(Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms, EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture etc. Enters and oversees data entry with SYSTOC computer system.

May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
