The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.

- Assist management in ensuring that support services associates are fully oriented, trained, and capable of and willing to perform all the duties outlined. - Able to and willing to perform all assigned duties within the Laundry, Patient Transport and Environmental as assigned or needed. - The performance and quality standards for the assignment will be met constantly. - This position has indirect supervisory duties as needed to help direct and guide staff as needed.
