The Life Support Training Center Instructor is responsible for instructing students within the area they are certified adhering to the guidelines of the American Heart Association and Cooper University Hospital’s Life Support Training Center. Responsible for setup and breakdown of all instructional material and decontamination of equipment when necessary. Analysis of student performance and competency depending on course requirements. Teaches a minimum of four courses per year within their area of expertise.

Specific skills required for Molecular Pathology, Flow Cytometry and Point of Care job postings. Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe. Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing and current NJ-RN License required. Specific shift requirements apply.
