Facilitate patient access to infusion and schedule coordination. Collaborates with management to keep informed on scheduling and escalates barriers in scheduling.
Handle multiple patient needs such as check in, phones and lab registration and keeping patients informed, or- check out and scheduling next infusion appointment, phones --and working on inbox of infusion scheduling needs.
This position must acquire skills to provide accurate patient scheduling inconsideration of numerous factors. This includes acquired knowledge of times needed for drug regimens.
Must be knowledgeable of medical terminology, medical insurance, professional billing requirements, and must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to problem solve when challenged with schedule capacity to accommodate patient needs. Considers un-linking appointments or modifies appointments in clinic in order to accommodate physician schedule in conjunction for chemo visit.
Develop ability to know what request or questions need to go to a RN, provider or manager. Offers recommendations to improve process and service.
Collaborate closely with Nursing to ensure schedule requests and provider request consider department and patient needs.
Must be skilled in use of computers and applications.
Must have the ability to be organized and self-directed.
Assists in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities. Assumes responsibility for record keeping, intra-departmental and interdepartmental communications, written and electronic medical record keeping.
The Registered RN is a professional caregiver, who as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. They supervise and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care.
Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s).
Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.
1. Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
2. Performs technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care specific to population served and documents appropriately.
3. Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
4. Reinforces education of patient and family/responsible party regarding individual care needs and safety issues.
5. Participates in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals. Participates in the performance improvement activities. Assists in orientation of new hires.
6. Completes annual unit-specific competencies by specified due date.
7. Attends Staff Meetings when available for documents review of staff meeting minutes.
8. Assists in admission, transfers and discharges of patients to and from the unit

Clinical: Provide psychological consultation and psychotherapeutic intervention for individual outpatient health psychology population. Working with medical patients to focus on brief short-term interventions for those struggling with psychological distress related to medical issues. Work in cooperation with and provide consultation to a multidisciplinary team, provide both brief bedside and traditional OP psychotherapy interventions rooted in evidence-based interventions, including, but not limited to, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based interventions. Lead and/or co-facilitate psychoeducational groups for patients on topics such as insomnia, fear of recurrence and metastiatic cancer.
Assessment: Provide psychological testing as appropriate to assess mood, behavior, and cognitive functioning including CDQ, MMSE, MoCA, RBANS, HADS, etc. to assist in assessment to inform treatment.
Secondary Supervision for externship/internship training program: Provide secondary supervision for interns on health psychology rotations of Behavioral Medicine Training Programs
Administration: Maintain timely, comprehensive, clinical notes in EMR; provide psychological reports for assessment cases, obtain NJ permit; report to Director of Behavioral Medicine for administrative and clinical issues including scheduling, case assignment, coverage, etc.
Teaching: Lecture for CMSRU courses as needed; participate in supervision for medical students at CUH as needed for varying coursework at CMSRU, Additionally provide professional presentations as requested (staff in-service, Grand Rounds, GME and medical school). Participation in weekly group supervision and didactic training of Behavioral Medicine trainees.
Research: Participation in on-going Behavioral Medicine research; initiation of new projects, participation in professional presentation at national conferences; work toward publication of Behavioral Medicine research.
Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in an urgent care setting and participates in
front desk and registration activities to ensure exceptional patient flow/care and optimize
throughput of patients.
Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper
Urgent Care Center.
This new model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Cherry Hill and
surrounding areas.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
References in these areas are a must.
