  Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in GE IDX PACS system. Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred. Siemens/Toshiba experience preferred. Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills needed to effectively orchestrate daily workflow of patients.

Looking for individuals that are willing and have experience in stocking, clerical/administrative, cleaning of NICU specific equipment    Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.   1. Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. 2. Performs technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care specific to population served and documents appropriately. 3. Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. 4. Reinforces education of patient and family/responsible party regarding individual care needs and safety issues. 5. Participates in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals. Participates in the performance improvement activities. Assists in orientation of new hires. 6. Completes annual unit-specific competencies by specified due date. 7. Attends Staff Meetings when available for documents review of staff meeting minutes. 8. Assists in admission, transfers and discharges of patients to and from the unit

Evaluation, assessment and treatment of patients in the outpatient setting. Oversite of certified occupational therapist assistants, aides and front desk staff. Communication with patients, families and other members of the health care team.

Now offering $50/hr for Registered Cardiac Sonographer II PRN - Required to work Saturdays and Sundays for 10 hr shifts - Obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler in the echo lab and at the bedside of high patient acuity. Imaging patients on ventilators, ECMO and Impella - Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms as requested. - Assist Cardiologist with TEE, Pericardial Centesis, and code coverage. - Support sonography training across multiple disciplines (physicians, fellows, students, etc.). - Recognize the need for agitated saline and contrast agents, IV insertion if necessary. - Cultivates a collaborative and cooperative work environment within department - Level II per diem sonographers are required to work nine (9) weekend shifts per 6 week schedule - Weekends are defined as Saturdays or Sundays. Must schedule themselves for the full shift, as assigned, in order to meet these work requirements - Weekday shifts pro-rated to level 1 per diem rate - Must work two (2) holiday shifts per year (1) winter and one (1) summer

 The Flow Manager’s primary responsibility will be to facilitate flow through the unit. He/she will delegate care to the care teams and assignments , ensuring that workload is balanced and delegates tasks appropriately, employing resources as needed to assure quality and efficient care. Ensures staff coverage. Ensures the delivery of patient care through the coordination of customer services and the leadership and management of the Department at the direction of the Clinical Director/Director of Operations. This position assists the Director of Operatons in coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care. This position will support the department in Patient and Staff Engagement initiatives including but not limited to employee rounding, patient rounding with coaching staff, feedback and holding staff accountable to expected behaviors. Assists the Director of Operations in leading the patient care team to meet the needs of the customers and to achieve departmental objectives. Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direction and implementation of patient care services within the unit under the direction of the Director of Operations. Accountable for daily infection prevention practices –A designee will be appointed in the event the flow manager is not on-site.
