- This OR Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. - Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site. - This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. - Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. - Participates in cross training in other specialty areas. - Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement projects. - Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown Multidisciplinary sites.

Carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to: - Assists anesthesia department with daily preparation for cases, room turnover, restocking of supplies, cleaning of equipment and other duties as noted in job description. - Assist sterile processing technician with duties as assigned. - Assist supply coordinator with duties as assigned. - Follows established policies & procedures.   - Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. - Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians. - Applies Cooper core values.  - Other duties as required.

Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Control requirements. Maintains Licensure, stays current and participates departmental training offered. Performs procedures (Portables, E.R., Trauma, Fluoro OR and General) as needed. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/guests. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies, maintains paperwork particular to each department/office. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Ambassador team. Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Attends greater than 80% of staff meetings to staff informed and supports initiatives.

Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Must be able to assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed. Maintains licensure and BLS. Stays current and participates departmental training offered. Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/customers. Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external. Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport). Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications.

Competitive rates & Benefits, come join our EMS 911 Services department!   Under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor, the EMT will provide pre-hospital Basic Life Support care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team. Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.

Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing, and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.

This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.

  A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices. May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services. Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations. Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
