Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in
cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team.
Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing
appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport
patients to appropriate medical facilities.
Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient
EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
The Cooper Center for Population Health is seeking a Program Manager for the Center for Population Health to assist in the development, implementation and oversight of programs within the Center for Population Health. The main program focuses on developing Population Health capabilities and Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives in Cooper Primary Care.
Provide strategic expertise and leadership to the Cooper’s Patient Engagement Initiatives, including the development and execution of the project plan, communications of the plan, oversight of all resources and activities.
Develop partnerships with external stakeholders. design and implement communication, training, and transition plans serving a broad spectrum of key stakeholders including executive, clinical, administrative, staff, and support functions.
Creates and subsequently manages project plans, leads team meetings and sets tactical direction and tasks to meet strategic goals.
Requires strong project management skills, high-level strategy and management and organization skills, and a strong knowledge of health reform and its effect on hospital-based care.
Directs all administrative, project development, execution and reporting for the program.
Participates in quality and process improvement initiatives related to the program.

Responsible for day-to-day management of EIP dental services. Provide oversight of dental clinical operations and dental staff. Assuring safe patient care services and environment of care in compliance with regulatory agencies and Cooper policies and procedures.
The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.
In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary
health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
- Registered Nurse who coordinates the delivery of Patient Care Services to patients during day, evening and night hours including weekend and holiday shifts.
- Integral member of the leadership team who assumes administrative responsibility for the Division of patient Care Services and on-site responsibility for the hospital.
- Accountable for ensuring appropriate PCS staffing through the management of staff resources, and who has the responsibility for the ultimate decision in the immediate management of any given situation.
- Accountable for ensuring that safe, efficient, and quality patient care is provided.
- Ensures the delivery of customer service through the coordination of admissions, transfers, and the timely throughput of patients within the institution by appropriate and immediate assignment of beds.

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follows established policies and procedures.
- Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.
- Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management, and physicians.
- Applies Cooper core values.
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe.
- Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care.
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process.
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
Carries out procedures for department functions, including, but not limited to:
- Washing, inspecting, packaging, and sterilizing instruments/equipment
- Maintaining accurate monitoring records
- Using and interpreting chemical and biological indicators
- Performs appropriate cleaning of all sterilization equipment
- Assisting OR personnel in locating/reprocessing instruments
- Participating in performance improvement activities.

The trained Surgical technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.
