The ED Flow Manager’s primary responsibility will be to facilitate flow through the ED. This position will delegate care to the ED care teams and assign patients, ensuring that workload is balanced and delegates tasks appropriately, employing resources as needed to assure quality and efficient care.
Ensures the delivery of patient care through the coordination of customer services and the leadership and management of the Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit at the direction of the Clinical Director.
This position assists the Clinical Director in coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care.
Assists the Clinical Director in leading the patient care team to meet the needs of the customers and to achieve departmental objectives.
Assumes responsibility and accountability for the direction and implementation of patient care services within the Emergency Department and Clinical Decision Unit at the direction of the Clinical Director and in their absence.
To obtain 2D and 3D echocardiograms with color and Spectral Doppler at the patient’s
bedside and in Echo Lab.
Perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress echocardiograms as requested.
Assist Cardiologist with TEE and Intracardiac Echo in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Rotate hospital on call schedule, arriving within 45 minutes of call.

Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. Support departmental initiatives including but not limited to patient throughput and customer service initiatives.
Direct and control the Hospital Plant, surrounding administrative buildings and some Outpatient Facilities 24/7/365. Work with a team of experienced, qualified professionals to ensure that value objectives are met in all maintenance, plant engineering, and capital improvements.
Supervise a team of +/- 40 individuals including electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, carpenters, PM mechanics, licensed stationary engineers, and general maintenance and plant operations. Experience with a unionized workforce a plus.
Plan, direct, budget, financially manage and coordinate all aspects of plant engineering and maintenance. Ability to develop a predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance and operations budget.
Ability to purchase, manage and run utilities operations and consumption; Experience in the management of co-generation facilities preferred.
Understanding and ability to optimize building controls for improved efficiencies.
Ability to lead a team to develop and implement a utilities masterplan and utility management plan. Develop a conservation plan around the use of power, gas, and steam; work with senior leadership on an education plan for staff to participate in all aspects of energy conservation.
Experience in working with a computerized maintenance management system with the goal of improving data and performance. Develop measurable delivery metrics to chart and affirm Maintenance and Operations Departments are on a continual path of improvement.
Customer Service oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to work with leaders from other departments within the system is a must.
Goal oriented individual with a willingness to champion the critical role of Maintenance Operations.
The Enterprise Analytics Analyst will create analytical solutions (reports, dashboards and visualizations) that deliver actionable information to business leaders. He/she will primarily utilize the Tableau analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions. He/she will analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed. Additionally, the analyst will develop and deliver ad hoc solutions as necessary.
Supports, educates, and assists patients and their families, serving as a link to their doctors
and supportive services.
This position’s role is key in the implementation of multi-disciplinary care.
The Graduate Nurse (GN) is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
The GN holds a temporary emergency RN license and shall be eligible to work only under supervision in an acute care facility licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. Such supervision may be in the form of a preceptor relationship.
The following tasks will not be performed by the GN:
• Procedures not signed off by the RN preceptor or Clinical Educator that requires competency.
• Direct or supervise other healthcare staff.
• Make assignments for other staff.
The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the entire initial credentialing and privileging process and reappointment process for all new medical staff and allied health professional applicants to ensure the highest quality patient care at Cooper University Health Care. The Specialist will also be responsible for designated managed care audit coordination. The position collaborates with the Director Medical Staff Services to ensure compliance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Joint Commission Standards, and other regulatory requirements. Resourcefulness, good judgment, self-sufficiency, and good organizational skills are required to prioritize and accomplish tasks.
Coordinates receptionist and clerical responsibilities for office. Assigns coordinates and solve problems to assure smooth operation of the office. Maintain inter-department communication for problem resolution with Office Manager. Responsible for assuring adherence to hospital/departmental policies with regard to safety, drug storage and front desk operation.
