The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing vendor’s work on various projects throughout Ambulatory as well as perform in a general trades capacity making repairs, improvements, renovations and decision making with regards to completing projects on time and as per design.   Responsibilities for each project include: - Oversee and direct assigned design and construction management consultants hired to implement the necessary repairs and replacements of Ambulatory property conditions as prescribed per plan, discussion or consultation with the Director of Ambulatory Properties. - Support the design process and assist Cooper Facilities Staff in the final selection of equipment and products for Ambulatory Based projects.  - Conduct competitive bidding, level bids, make recommendations to award, construction administration, projects schedules and budgets. - Act as the primary interface for the communication with all users affected by design and construction. - Track budget, expenditures, and work progress using the Web Based Project Management System.  Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project - Develop and keep current all documents for ICRA, PCRA, SRA and ILSM   General Responsibilities of the Role: - Assist all Facilties Project Managers MEP designs that support the best interest of the institution and assist as necessary on shut downs and emergent maintenance needs. - Complete minor repairs as required.
