Responsible for the oversight of Patient valuables and personal belongings, assuring that all patient inquiries are addressed as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities include concise documentation of all patient belongings and valuables delivered to us for safekeeping, return of all items to the patient or their APR, organization of items with current inventory on file for reference. Management also includes ensuring the timely return of all patient belongings and valuables upon discharge from our facility.
Collaborate with and support with our Nursing Leadership and staff, ensuring adherence with our internal policies and that best practices are employed to identify.

Greet, smile and make the patient/family and visitor feel welcome, listen to customer’s request and offer assistance.
Responsible for answering phones and questions proficiently, and triaging calls which
cannot be answered and, therefore, require further assistance.
Mailing patient valuables and belongings if requested, utilizing the appropriate delivery services.
We are looking for highly resourceful and data-savvy students to join our team as interns. The Performance Management and Improvement (PMI) team is focused on implementing business solutions and providing advanced analytical support to further optimize health system operations. Because there are finite resources to impact patients, it is critical to efficiently distribute resources relative to each area’s unit of service, this includes hospital based inpatient, hospital based outpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary departments. The interns will partner with other members of the PMI team to work on a variety of analysis, platform, and modelling projects covering all facets of the healthcare delivery industry.
The internship will give you the opportunity to work on “real world” problems. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of project delivery and will have the opportunity to work with business leaders to define the problems and communicate the outcomes.

Responsible for the safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner.
Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, proper utilization of body mechanics, adherence to policies, procedures and standards established by Hospital, Department and Regulatory Agencies.
Acts as a positive role model and team player demonstrating hospital mission and values.

Some of the primary duties that GI technicians perform include:
- GI Technicians prepare rooms and equipment before endoscopic procedures and clean up and sterilize after procedures.
- Maintaining an inventory of equipment and supplies for endoscopic procedure
- Ensuring equipment functions properly
- Preparing waiting and recovery rooms or procedure suites
- Maintaining endoscopic equipment, including cleaning, disinfecting and calibrating instruments according to manufacturer guidelines
- Transporting patients according to medical personnel instructions- Helping physicians and nurses perform endoscopic procedures
- Attending training as necessary to enhance or refresh skills
- Collecting specimens from patients
- Collaborating effectively with other care providers regarding procedures and patients' conditions
- Staying current on endoscopy developments by reading literature, speaking with colleagues or participating in professional organizations
- Assists with Business Office Support duties and will be trained to EPIC applications and front desk registration & copay collection.
