Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics. - Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrate standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice. -

This job requires the candidate to perform CAT scan procedures following protocols established by the radiologist and operate the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department. Maintains the work area by reporting Maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies, and deficient. Participates in Clinical activities and adheres to all infection prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - OB/GYN Burlington, NJ   Assume responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patients, staff and patient education, and research. Serve as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

Provides occupational hand therapy services including evaluations and treatment in accordance with policy and procedures of state laws and the professional code of ethics. Plans and evaluates patients’ treatment programs in coordination with physician. Designs, implements and modifies therapeutic interventions. Maintain ongoing discussions of conditions and treatment plans with physician. Follows-up with patients during treatment, explain precautions to take.  

  This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.
