The Director of Provider Capacity Management leads organizational efforts to design, monitor, and optimize provider capacity across the clinical enterprise. This role ensures patient-centric access to clinical services, oversees template management for provider and ancillary schedules, and aligns capacity management work to strategic initiatives. The Director collaborates with executive leadership, clinical and operational leaders, and physicians to proactively mitigate barriers to ambulatory access and patient flow, leveraging data analytics, technology, and process improvement methodologies. 

This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination

The Therapist must support and assure the efficient, effective, courteous testing of patients and reporting accurate results to physicians for interpretation. Flexibility and excellent teamwork required in order to meet the needs of the physicians, patients, and coworkers.   Assist Pulmonary Physicians in different locations that may require travel between sites. This position requires independent working skills, which may include transporting a patient, faxing or scanning reports to physician offices, or any other function which can facilitate the operation of the Pulmonary Function Labs and the Bronchoscopy Suite.

Responsible for registration functions (such as registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance, revenue collections, resource referrals, and customer service) in a fast paced, high volume Emergency Department that provides 24/7 service.
