Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management. Greets patients and guests utilizing AIDET and provides excellent service experience.  Provides patient support and keeps informed of delays.   Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in GE IDX PACS system. Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred. Siemens/Toshiba experience preferred. Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills needed to effectively orchestrate daily workflow of patients.

The Therapist must support and assure the efficient, effective, courteous testing of patients and reporting accurate results to physicians for interpretation. Flexibility and excellent teamwork required in order to meet the needs of the physicians, patients, and coworkers. Assist Pulmonary Physicians in different locations that may require travel between sites. This position requires independent working skills, which may include transporting a patient, faxing or scanning reports to physician offices, or any other function which can facilitate the operation of the Pulmonary Function Labs and the Bronchoscopy Suite.
