The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. - Follows established policies and procedures - Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors - Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians - Applies Cooper core values - Other duties as required

   - This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. - Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. - Serve as the front-line contact person for all incoming patients. - Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. - Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. - Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.

Assists interventionalists in all procedures within the scope of interventional Radiology and Vascular surgery to include but not limited to oncology, vascular and trauma. Skill set must be maintained to handle supplies/instrumentation associated with interventional procedures. Must be able to assist physicians in the capacity of both a scrub and circulating technologist. Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies. Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of supplies within Cooper Health Care network. This includes: Picking of requisitions orders, Receipt of Purchase Orders, Delivery of supplies, utilizing truck, Replenishment of inventory supplies, Cycle Counting, Utilizing Lawson / Mobile Supply Chain RF Scanner, Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

- Assists the Clinical team in providing indirect patient care, plus has non patient care responsibilities to include but not limited to turning over rooms, pharmacy/specimen pickup or delivery, setting up equipment for cases and patient transporting. - Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team.
