The Patient Care Technician provides patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key responsibilities include observing and reporting patient condition changes, assisting with daily living activities (such as meals and bathing), recording vital signs, measuring fluid intake/output, collecting specimens, and transporting patients within the hospital. Assume responsibility for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant within a clinical specialty.
