The IT People Manager will be responsible for implementing and overseeing dedicated people strategies that promote core cultural values and strong performance. The role will play an indispensable part in the IT organization’s future by matching talent to the right roles needed to support growth in the department. The role will drive the execution of annual processes, such as talent management, performance management, and the compensation cycle, as well as oversee employee relations issues. This role will have a large number of direct reports and manage a team with diverse talents and backgrounds.
Creates and oversees annual goal setting for staff; ensure staff are on target & course corrects as needed.
Responsible for career planning and career growth; develops and updates job descriptions and career ladder as needed.
Conducts performance evaluations (ongoing and annual). Address staff performance challenges through development and monitoring of Performance Improvement Plans.
Seeks and shares regular feedback on staff performance.
Regular rounding (1:1s) with team members; addresses process or policy issues that arise and/or delegates to others to ensure these are being addressed; provides constant feedback loop between People Manager and staff.
Creates training & development plans, as well as skills assessment and determines how to close resource and/or skill gaps; partners and collaborates with others to develop these plans.
Provides consistency in organizational transparency through development and implementation of efficient and effective internal communication practices and processes, including, but not limited to digital communication, leadership communication, in-person and town hall meetings, etc. to ensure consistent messaging.
Seeks out & champions programs for industry development for staff, such as industry certifications, membership opportunities in industry thought leadership, and other training/development opportunities.
Chairs and/or participates in internal committees, such as employee engagement committee, communication committee, etc.
Participates in annual budget planning, by identifying future state resource demands and skill development needs. Prepare justification and information for internal position management committee for approval of new FTE requests
Accountable for HR responsibilities such as recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding; develops and executes consistent processes to support these activities.
Approves timecards/payroll, paid time off, monitors leave of absence, etc.
Perform various laundry, patient transport, and environmental duties throughout the hospital. Performs specific cleaning duties to maintain a clean and aseptic environment. Transports patients throughout the facility in a professional, courteous and timely manner. Performs laundering and related assignments necessary to the collection, processing and distribution of linen throughout the system. Keeps waiting rooms, lounges, and staff areas tidy. High School diploma or equivalent required.

Accurately validates prior-to-admission medication lists and takes medication & allergy
history from patients.
Contacts outpatient entities as needed for additional patient medication information.
Communicates information to health care team.
Documents/corrects information in patient medication list in EPIC.
Functions in the role of providing a safe environment for patients requiring close observation.
Assists in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities.
Contributes to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team.
The Senior Security Engineer works closely with business and IT to determine business process and productivity needs and develop the necessary cybersecurity strategy to support the business goals. The Senior Security Engineer will support technical needs, requirements, and the state of the network’s infrastructure design, integration, and operations. Work with technical management to optimize cybersecurity that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters. Support design principles for the security of the physical network perimeter and internal protection of the organization’s network. Support and develop models, plans, internal standards, budgets, and processes based on industry best practices. Support governing principles for network design and deployment. Participate in selection of cybersecurity technologies and products for implementation and use.
Assists in strategic planning through continued understanding of Cooper’s business strategy, our current technology and cybersecurity portfolio, and technology and cybersecurity trends to optimize cybersecurity solutions that effectively reflect business needs, service-level and availability requirements, and other technology parameters.
Assists in the strategic design and architecture of a complex, high-scale enterprise security program that protects all levels of the OSI model..
Recommends, develops, implements and maintains solutions for responding to threats, including planning, communication, analysis, mitigation, and continuous improvement.
Recommends, develops, implements and maintains solutions for detecting risks and potential breaches to Cooper’s environment including continuous security monitoring, detection procedures, event monitoring and log management.
Analyze and review designated business solutions to ensure they are in compliance with Cooper’s cybersecurity controls.
Serves as the subject matter expert for cybersecurity approaches, procedures and implementation of business requirements. Provides analysis of and suggested solutions to proposed implementations.
Participates as a senior member of Cooper’s cybersecurity incident response plan
Facilitates the cybersecurity risk assessment with focus on identifying vulnerabilities utilizing different assessment techniques. Develops risk mitigation plans to address results of security audits, reviews and scans.
Assists with the decommissioning or migration of existing environments.
Develop and maintain up to date documentation relating to information security, e.g., playbooks, policies, procedures, etc.
The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
Additional Responsibilities:

Provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, resources referrals, to facilitate discharge plans, and/or adjustment to illness, and complex discharge planning for patients and their families.
Formulates the discharge plan with patient, families and the care team based upon a needs assessment.
Coordinates appropriate referrals to home care agencies, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, and community based programs.
Coordinates care authorization process with insurers.
Coordinates specific details of patient’s hospitalization with Utilization Management department to ensure appropriate admission status.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients’ activities of daily living and plan of care. Communicates with and supports healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.
- Supports the activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, feeding, toileting/hygiene, and assisting with mobility and transport. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
- Performs technical duties as directed by RN, such as phlebotomy, vital signs, point of care testing, EKGs, Foley catheter care specific to population served and documents appropriately.
- Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately. Demonstrates standard precautions including the care of patients in isolation and safe patient practice.
- Reinforces education of patient and family/responsible party regarding individual care needs and safety issues.
- Participates in Cooper patient satisfaction initiatives and goals. Participates in the performance improvement activities. Assists in orientation of new hires.

- Attends Staff Meetings when available for documents review of staff meeting minutes.
- Assists in admission, transfers and discharges of patients to and from the unit.
