This position has a strong emphasis on customer service to our patients. Must ensure quality patient scheduling, positive telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of Cooper University Hospital. Serve as the front line contact person for all incoming patients. Greet, register, schedule, collect point of service copays and provide general information to patients and their families using AIDET. Must have the ability to be organized, take independent action and project Cooper’s values to both customer and co-workers. Serves as patient’s non-clinical navigator during discharge coordination.

ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Cooper and Inspira Vineland   The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education. In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research. The Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.

This role requires rotating through all locations (Camden, CDHI, VSC, MSC, and all others as assigned). Anesthetic Locations: Main Operating Room in Camden (30-bed) with 100 average daily caseloads. Multiple Camden outside of OR sites (OB, GI, EP Lab, TEE, Neuro IR, Bronch, Pain, IR, MRI, PAT Clinic, Trauma/Emergency Alert responses), Cooper Digestive Health Center (4-bed) & Voorhees Surgery Center (5-bed), Moorestown Surgery Center, and others as assigned.   #LI-CU1

The Analytics Developer will create reports, data visualizations and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. He/she will primarily utilize the Tableau analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions. He/she will analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed. He/she will champion the process of redesigning reports that are manual today and deploying them into the Tableau self-service framework to allow end users to access and use the information on demand

Provide emotional and spiritual support via spiritual/cultural rites and activities elected by the patients and staff of Cooper Hospital via direct patient contact with pastoral care staff, departmental volunteers, and clinical pastoral education program students, while responding to requested referrals to patient/community resources.  

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.   - Follows established policies and procedures.  - Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors.  - Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management. - and physicians.  - Applies Cooper core values.  - Other duties as required.

•Serves as a central resource for information concerning patients’ rights and responsibilities, advance directives and ethical issues. •Serves as interpreter for Spanish speaking patients when needed. •Coordinates, investigates and resolves patient grievances concerning the quality of care and service by providing a formal grievance mechanism. •Leads efforts to collect, analyze and evaluate patient concerns. •Masters an understanding of the organization’s mission, policies, procedures, and services to respond to patient questions or concerns. •Responsible for meeting all regulatory regulations and standards. •Responds to potentially serious incidents and reduces possible litigation. •Provides leadership and consultation to committees, departments that affect patient needs and rights. •Refers patients/families to appropriate services and resources. •Provides leadership role in the inclusion of the patient/family experience. •Is an integral part of the decision making process across the health system regarding patient experiences. •Leads patient and family meetings. •Serves as subject matter expert in Service Recovery. •Information Resource

  Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders. Maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs

Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect, and non-patient care responsibilities. Contribute to quality patient care by serving as a significant member of the health care team. May perform clerical support for the patient care unit.
