Cooper University Health Care (CUHC) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU), Department of Ob/Gyn, Division of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery are actively committed to diversity at all levels of the organization and are seeking a Board-Certified Urogynecologist at the Associate Professor level or above to join the faculty as Division Head. The division supports an established and growing hospital-based practice consisting of 3 full time and 1 part time faculty, along with 4 full time affiliate faculty at Christiana Care Health System. Additional staff include 2 advanced practice nurses. This supports a 4-person fellowship with no citations. The practice is expanding and will have an additional location in Moorestown along with the Voorhees location.
The faculty practice in Urogynecology includes the care of women from a variety of demographic areas in both the inpatient and outpatient arenas. The cornerstone of the practice is the development of long-standing physician-physician and physician-patient relationships. Surgical procedures are performed both in the hospital and in our outpatient surgical center.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and continue to foster the ongoing sense of teamwork within the division. In maintaining the strong commitment to teaching and mentoring, the candidate will lead in our mission of education by teaching fellows, residents and medical students. The candidate is expected to have a proven record in academics and will build upon and expand research activity. Job Description: Advanced Practice Provider (APP), FULL TIME - Pediatric Gastroenterology
The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.
In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
- Responsible for successfully completing daily tasks and/or projects as assigned.
- Will complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner while exhibiting the Cooper University Healthcare Core Value qualities.

COOPER RESEARCH INSTITUTE
Administratively supports and oversees all research activities conducted in The Cooper Health System.
Establishes and directs the organizational structure and staffing of the Cooper Research Institute in order to facilitate the conduct of clinical and basic science research by Cooper faculty, fellows, residents, nurses, allied health professionals, and research scientists.
Fosters development of new investigators by organizing faculty development research workshops and providing administrative support for research.
Responsible for a a centralized cost center with consolidation of all non-physician Cooper research personnel.
Manages research payroll for individuals by allocating their time/effort on a monthly basis to the appropriate grants account to ensure the department’s research effort is self-sufficient and does not require support from clinical revenue.
Authorized official for submission and reporting of federally funded grants.
Responsible for all research related contract negotiations and reviews, financial disclosures, conflicts of interest resolution and ethics, patent filings and intellectual property management/licensing, and biostatistical support.
Fiscal oversight of research and programmatic service grant and contract revenues.
Reviews and authorizes billing and payment for patients’ research related charges in compliance with federal CMS regulations.
Develops subcontracts and provide fiscal oversight for outside non-Cooper physicians participating in clinical research in compliance with Stark and anti-kickback laws.
Acts as liaison with CMSRU in order to facilitate use of their laboratory.
The director of the Cooper Innovation Center is now responsible for this.

• Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist
• Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
• Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies.
• Adheres to all Infection Prevention policies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
• Maintains licensure and BLS.
• Stays current and participates departmental training offered.

• Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications.

Directly responsible for the trafficking of patients to and from the floors and Critical Care
units to all Radiologic modalities.
Prescreen all requisitions to ensure that patients are not going to receive a duplicate
treatment by bringing those requisitions to the attention of the shift supervisor or lead
technologist in each area.
Make every attempt to coordinate the efforts of the different modalities so patients are
brought to the department once and receive as many of the scheduled procedures as
possible.
Supervise an average of 5 patient transporters in order to expedite patient flow.
Responsible for answering and trafficking all phone calls made directly to the department
and using appropriate phone etiquette.
Able to schedule house patients for some diagnostic studies.
The Ops Excellence Specialist I is responsible for applying Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies to deploy strategic projects aimed at reducing variation and eliminating waste within the Patient Access and Experience pillar. This includes harnessing technology and other innovations to improve the health of those we serve focusing on exceptional patient/consumer experience and improved system performance.
The Specialist will plan, lead, and manage complex and value-added projects. He /she will use Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management techniques in partnership with project sponsors and process owners to achieve improvement goals for each assigned project. Projects involve stakeholders across the various functional and service areas in Cooper. For each project, the Specialist will develop project plans and timelines, while bringing together resources as needed. He /she will engage with technology partners and other internal stakeholders to evaluate and implement tools to standardize workflows, transform processes and progress from volume to value.
Responsibility of ensuring that research in the Department of OB/GYN is promoted, facilitated and conducted in an ethical and responsible manner. Key individual in identifying, recruiting and interacting with patients throughout the entire study. Coordinates planning study conduct, submission of all IRB regulatory documents/amendments, preparation and conduct of studies by residents and faculty. Responsible for completing and maintaining all study documents, in compliance with IRB , Cooper University Hospital, Sponsor and FDA requirements.
