Provide pre-hospital Advanced Life Support (ALS) care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a member of the patient care team. Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move, and transport patients to appropriate medical facilities. Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.
The Clinical Laboratory Assistant works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians. He/she performs duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling, inventory, maintenance and others as assigned.
- Accurately validates prior-to-admission medication lists and takes medication & allergy history from patients.
- Contacts outpatient entities as needed for additional patient medication information.
- Communicates information to the health care team.
- Documents/corrects information in patient medication list in EPIC.
- Accurately and timely prepares all medications, including IV medications,
- under the direct supervision of the pharmacist as per policy and regulation.
- Completes expired medication inspections

- This role will provide administrative, regulatory, and research support for databases, registries, pilot projects, and investigator-initiated projects.
- This individual will ensure compliance with IRB requirements, oversee registry operations, support medical students' engagement with the research and data, and provide support and programming for basic data analysis and reporting.
Responsible for supporting the ED clinical team in provision of patient care. This includes environmental readiness, assistance with procedures/care, carrying out specific duties, and effective communication. The Phlebotomy Technician is primarily responsible for collecting specimens for laboratory testing in the inpatient setting. Patients may range from newborn through older adults. Team members are assigned to various inpatient units based on volume and are expected to provide timely and accurate service.
