Proficient in-patient scheduling, professional telephone etiquette and customer satisfaction in support of the mission of CUH. Surgical scheduler duties involve scheduling for hospital outpatient-based services, changing, and canceling appointments, to include other administrative duties as assigned. Interface as a direct liaison with patients and clinical staff at procedural locations to communicate patient results and scheduling needs. Support checkout at Gastroenterology’s ambulatory office, scheduling patients for procedures after office visits. Provide accurate, detailed information to patients regarding test results and work with patients to reschedule procedures as needed. Take appropriate action in responding to questions from patients. Answer incoming calls, directing calls to the correct party, checking voicemails, and returning missed for scheduling requests. Responsible for the integrity of pre-registration to include accurate health care coverage(s). Escalate operational, provider, or patient complaints along with other critical matters to leadership. Knowledge of medical insurance and billing processes. Must work well in stressful situations and display a high degree of efficiency at all times. Strong emphasis on customer service.

Provide ongoing care-coordination and case management services. Guide linkage to appropriate clinical services including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), behavioral health treatment, and social services to individuals with Substance Use Disorder.   Provide education, coordination, navigation, linkages, and support to individuals with Substance Use Disorder, mental health diagnosis, or other medical conditions.   Foster one-on-one supportive relationships built on trust and respect, and encourage engagement and retention in treatment in order for patient to reach and maintain optimal outcome   Provide continuity of care by meeting patients in various clinical and community settings including the following: home visits, emergency department visits, addiction treatment appointments, medical appointments, social service appointments, correctional visits, and therapeutic appointments.   Identify health and wellness needs, barriers and strengths including physical health, medical and addiction treatment, social support, occupational and intellectual strengths and goals, financial and housing, etc.   Perform outreach by meeting with patients in the community and act as allies and advocates for patient services   Attend Addiction Medicine clinical and programmatic conferences and meetings as required.   Engage in ongoing professional development, training and receipt of clinical supervision.

     ADDICTION MEDICINE          Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with Life, Safety, Fire and      Hazardous waste requirements.        Triage/Coordinates and performs direct patient care and clinical flow.        Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture      preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of      medications.)        Provides health assessments, preps for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and      performs various testing to include,(Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms,      EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture etc.        Enters and oversees data entry with SYSTOC computer system.        Stocks and orders medications and medical/surgical supplies.        Reviews physical/tests results with provider and handles phone calls (i.e.; case      management, testing/physical results).

The Clinical Nurse Manager will provide the knowledge, skill, and expertise necessary to successfully support the daily operations of the clinical unit while supporting unit alignment with organizational mission, vision, and goals. - Support and maintain successful unit-based throughput efforts through the facilitation of appropriate and timely bed assignments resulting in fair, safe, and balanced clinical workloads for all clinical team members. - Ensure that all available resources are utilized in an efficient, effective, fiscally responsible manner that supports the delivery of safe, high-quality care to all patients. - Identify, implement, and support the deployment of evidence-based interventions designed to maximize successful input, throughput and output-related processes. - Support staff engagement by serving the unit in a consistent, supportive, compassionate, and nurturing manner. - Facilitate the successful and appropriate allocation of clinical resources through preemptive planning while also demonstrating the ability to execute safe and clinically appropriate strategies to address urgent and emergent clinical needs. - Serve as a role model/mentor empowering all clinical staff to identify innovative solutions to address patient needs while ensuring all clinical staff receive the support needed to practice in alignment with the full scope of their clinical role. - Support and empower the clinical team in the implementation of successful evidence-based practice changes in effort to address opportunities for improvement that are identified through quality, process, and performance improvement efforts. - Ensures the delivery of quality patient care through the coordination of organizational priorities at the direction of the Clinical Director. Assists the Clinical Director in coordinating interdepartmental and ancillary activities to ensure quality, cost-effective patient care. - Lead the collaboration of inter-professional care teams to achieve successful clinical outcomes for all patients. - Identify and support the elements of improved care quality including, improvements in nursing sensitive care quality indicators (NDNQI), effective care coordination, mitigation of gaps /omissions in care, prevention of potential errors from reaching the bedside.

Review every medication order and dosage for completeness, safety and efficacy prior to dispensing to an individual patient including routine, stat and investigational orders. Maintain drug information, investigational, educational, cost containment and clinical programs

2 Years experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasounds. Possess knowledge of normal and abnormal fetal anatomy and GYN anatomy Certification in OB/GYN Current ARDMS - American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.

Financially clears scheduled inpatient and outpatient services, including office visits, testing, diagnostic studies, surgeries and procedures, prior to date of service. Financial clearance process encompasses any or all of the following job functions: • Verifies insurance eligibility and plan benefits. • Contacts patients with inactive insurance coverage to obtain updated insurance information • Validates coordination of benefits between insurance carriers. • Explains insurance plan coverage and benefits to patients, as necessary. • Secures insurance authorizations and pre-certs for patient services both internal and external to Cooper. • Creates referrals for patients having a Cooper PCP. Contacts external PCPs to obtain referrals for patients scheduled with Cooper providers. • Refers patients with less than 100% coverage to Financial Screening Navigators. • Identifies copayment, deductible and co-insurance information. • Collects and processes patient liability payments prior to service. Provides clear and concise documentation in systems. Communicates daily with insurance companies, internal customers, providers and patients.
