Respond to all documentation inquiries related to but not limited to: Coding, charge entry

Effects continuous quality improvement in all requests for additional documentation and registration information.
Responsible for verifying insurances for designated areas and following up as needed.

Candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. degree, be board certified in Geriatric Medicine (ABIM or ABFM) and have experience in an academic setting. The position is full time. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to outpatient consultative ultrasound offices (7 sites), inpatient service coverage of our 9-bedded antepartum unit, coverage of high-risk OB clinic (1/2 day each week), and resident/student education. There are also multiple opportunities for involvement with our 10-year-old Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (112 students/year). Cooper University Hospital is a regional perinatal center that is the major referral center for Southern New Jersey. Cooper University Hospital receives approximately 150 maternal transports per year and performs 2000 deliveries each year. In addition, we have a 25 bed Level III NICU and 6 full-time Neonatologists. Cooper University Hospital is the clinical partner of Cooper Medical School at Rowan University (CMSRU). Nurse Navigator I - Neurology
The Ambulatory Neurology Nurse Navigator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for Neurology patients across several offices. The RN in this position is responsible for non-patient facing nursing care to include telephone triage, care coordination of complex conditions and partnering with provider colleagues in the provision of care excellence. Additionally, this RN serves as resource to LPNs in their provision of non-patient facing care.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.
Experience in Neurology preferred.

A nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory
settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices.
May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers
with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks.
Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical
services.
Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these
standards in daily operations.
Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and
ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
PART TIME Technologist $2,500 Sign-on bonus for a two-year commitment. Bonus paid as follows:

o $1000 after completion of 1 year

- Performs CAT Scan procedures following protocols established by the Radiologist
- Operates the CT scanner during IR procedures in the CT department.
- Maintains work area: Reports maintenance issues for equipment, monitors supplies and deficiencies.
- Adheres to all Infection Prevention prolicies, utilizing the appropriate PPE needed.
- Maintains licensure and BLS.
- Stays current and participates departmental training offered.
- Demonstrates courteous behavior, positive attitude, etc. through polite communication with all co- workers/customers.
- Understands and appreciates the need to provide good customer service, both internal and external.
- Participates in clinical activities (i.e. assists with patient flow/care, helps to optimize throughput of patients via Radiology Transport).
- Remains compliant of timekeeping rules: Avoids early, late and unauthorized entries. Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfills compliance with life safety, fire and hazardous waste, Radiation Safety, and Infection Prevention requirements.
- Attends staff meetings and reviews daily huddles to keep current on department communications.
- Participates in Departmental On Call and Holiday Requirements.
Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection experience.
Epic experience preferred.
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills.
Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills.
