The Child Activities Assistant will provide developmentally appropriate play, stimulation, and comfort to infants, children, and adolescents based on assessed individual and group needs. The Child Activities Assistant will maintain a clean and safe play environment and will keep supplies and storage areas organized.
Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of supplies within Cooper Health Care network. This includes:

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational, administrative and writing capabilities. He/she must also exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Expertise in computers and database management is required. He/she will be able to handle confidential information and will exercise good judgement with respect to the generally sensitive nature of material related to residents and students.
- Assist with patient assessment, mechanical ventilatory support monitoring, non-invasive ventilation support, administration of medical gas delivery systems (i.e.: heliox, nitric, oxygen compressed air, etc...).
- Humidification and aerosol therapy, airway management, delivery of aerosolized & instilled medications, chest physical therapy, vest therapy, IPV therapy, in-exsuffalator therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas acquisition & analysis,
- Pulse oximetry monitoring & trending, ventilatory weaning, peak flow monitoring, assist with bedside tracheostomies, and bronchoscopy.

- Serve as the single point of contact to internal and external customers to ensure easy and seamless access to physicians, employees, patients, programs and services. Handle requests through various channels while utilizing numerous databases simultaneously. Relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls to or from internal and external customers in a 24/7 environment.
- Manage multiple incoming phone lines; greet callers, answer routine questions, forward calls and take messages.
