The Director of IT Applications is responsible for managing and overseeing the IT infrastructure and operations within the Ancillary Systems portfolio. This role ensures the effective integration, performance, and implementation of IT systems that support departments such as laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, cardiology, and other clinical ancillary services. The Director will oversee a large portfolio of ancillary systems and applications and will own the strategic direction of the portfolio. The Director will work closely with internal business customers and partner with them on optimization and implementation of workflows and their technology needs. - Conduct interviews with patients and families to ensure insurance coverage which includes obtaining benefit information and pre-certification. - Make referrals to financial assistance services for patients with less than 100% coverage. - This position will also perform Scheduling duties when needed.

The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring annual competencies/appraisals, required certifications, and ongoing continuing education for respiratory care practioners (RCP) under their direct report. Duties include daily supervision of respiratory care personnel, coordination of daily operations, and professional communication with the health care team to facilitate the coordination of care across the continuum. Acts in the absentia of the department manager or Director as needed. Supervisor is accountable for expected knowledge, skills and competencies for neonate to geriatric patients.
