Under the direction of the manager of clinic operations, functions as a supervisor to clinical staff capable of preparing evaluations and providing in put on performance and administering evaluations. In addition, brings disciplinary items to the manager. Provides medical assistant support to the providers if there is a staffing need. At all times ensures a high level of customer service by providing patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights.
Responsible for performing a variety of duties in various ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty, specialty practices. May be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting providers with patient care, and handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinical services.Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards and is accountable to sustain these standards in daily operations.Clinical direction, oversight and competency review is provided by medical providers and ambulatory professional development team in coordination with office management.
The Reception Ambassador provides information and assistance to patients, families and visitors and serves as support for the clinical staff within the reception and lobby areas at Cooper University Health Care. The ambassador may fill the gap for patients without family or friends available for visits and is often the first team member patients and visitors engage with when entering Cooper University Health Care. Primary responsibilities of the Reception Ambassador are to greet patients/family and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and to create a safe and friendly environment for all guests. Reception ambassadors provide information, assistance, and support to our patients, guests, team members and visitors within our lobby areas in the organization.
Under the supervision of the EMS Supervisor, the EMT will provide pre-hospital Basic Life
Support care in all weather conditions, in cooperation with other EMS providers as a
member of the patient care team.
Care will be rendered to patients of all ages whom experience any injury or illness, utilizing
appropriate equipment and techniques to safely assess, treat, lift, move and transport
patients to appropriate medical facilities.
Complete all required documentation and other assigned duties which support efficient
EMS operations while maintaining a professional attitude.

This position provides administrative, clerical, and organizational support to all Physicians/APPs within their assigned divisions (inpatient and outpatient) including maintaining calendars, schedule changes, conference travel, on call responsibilities, submit reimbursements, assist with presentations/projects as needed, maintain provider files, work bump lists under 30 days, legal requests, licensures, etc.
Serve as the point of contact with key partners e.g. PAC, Ambulatory Call Center, Ambulatory leaders/staff, institute staff/leaders, patient relations, Hero Care/Operation Allies, etc.
