This person performs audits and manages the registration work queue errors. This person will work with the front line staff doing one/one training, coaching and informational training emails using the results of the WQ errors and Audits. This position contribution to employee engagement, improved financials through reducing denials and rework
Greet, smile and make the patient/family and visitor feel welcome, listen to customer’s request and offer assistance.
Provide clerical support, including correspondence, taking messages copying and faxing as assigned.
Responsible for answering phones and questions proficiently, and triaging calls which
cannot be answered and, therefore, require further assistance.
Provide escort (wheelchair assist/walking assist) to department and/or coordinate escort services with Patient Transport.
Distribute map and information for amenities, visiting hours and parking. Assist with all deliveries.
Offer clear directions, call taxi cabs, print info from Internet as requested, such as bus schedules, health system programs, etc. promoting a concierge type service.
Insures all customer needs are being met offering assistance when necessary or
requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Adheres to Departmental procedures, fulfilling compliance with Life, Safety, Fire and
Hazardous waste requirements.
Triage/Coordinates and performs direct patient care and clinical flow.
Prepares patients for providers, assisting with exams, assisting provider with suture
preparation, carrying out orders, (i.e.; various supplies/tests/ X-Rays/dispensing of
medications.)
Provides health assessments, preps for physicals, completes calibration of equipment, and
performs various testing to include,(Pod’s, Respiratory approvals, Spirometry, Audiograms,
EKG's, Drug Testing, Timms testing, Breath and Saliva Alcohols, Venipuncture etc.
Enters and oversees data entry with SYSTOC computer system.
Stocks and orders medications and medical/surgical supplies.
Reviews physical/tests results with provider and handles phone calls (i.e.; case
management, testing/physical results).

- A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant looking to serve patients in a busy urgent care setting.
- Per Diem Commitment: Must commit to two weekend shifts in six weeks
- Shift Type/Hours: Per diem, Monday-Friday 8a-8p or 12-8p; Weekends 9a-5p
- Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience as an APN or Physician Assistant in the urgent care or fast track ED setting.
- Provide care to a variety of common urgent and non-urgent health conditions for all ages. Experience must include ability to independently perform common minor procedures including suturing, draining abscesses, interpreting x-rays, etc.
- Ability to function autonomously, ability to assess acuity of patients, to diagnose and treat common minor illnesses/conditions such as URI, UTI, sprains and strains, back pain, lacerations, abscesses, acute pain conditions, etc.
- Must be board certified and licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey

The analyst will assist with ensuring all 340B eligible sites are compliant including policy & procedure development; providing education on 340B to staff and providers; completing regular self audits and monitoring for compliance validation; ensuring patient, location & provider eligibility; recommending program enhancements and cost saving opportunities; providing collaboration with 340B Governance Committee; and participating in 340B Health organization educational sessions to ensure Cooper EIP has the current program and regulatory information to continue successfully
