The Registered RN is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required.

The Co-op Program in the Facilities Management Department provides students with hands-on experience across disciplines such as HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, maintenance, and electrical systems. This program is designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge for a successful career in facilities management while contributing to the smooth operation of the hospital’s buildings and facilities.

- Works in collaboration with Vascular Providers, Navix Team and Manager to schedule appointments and gather images/reports for patients seeing the Vascular Surgery Team.

Patient assessment, mechanical ventilatory support monitoring, non-invasive ventilation support, administration of medical gas delivery systems (i.e.:  heliox, nitric, oxygen compressed air, etc...), humidification and aerosol therapy.

ADVANCED PRACTICED PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant – Hospitalist at Cooper Camden, NJ and Inspira - All Locations

- Interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindication. - Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists. - Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history and completes studies in GE IDX PACS system. - Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring system/IV infusion pump to patients when necessary. - Excellent organizational skills and communication skills needed to effectively orchestrate daily workflow of patients.

Performs the functions of a Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit as well as Routine Lab procedures including Evoked Potentials.  Additional duties may include routine EEG, at off-site Brace Road office. Will occasionally be a preceptor for students.
