- Overall, the Perioperative Business Director is responsible for business intelligence and budgetary oversight including cost projections and containment in the Camden Perioperative areas. - The individual in this position works in concert with the clinical perioperative directors (OR, SPU/PACU) in leading the operations on the Camden main campus extending into all off campus areas when expertise are needed or required. The span of responsibility for this position includes direct oversight of Central Sterile Processing in collaboration with the OR Director, creation and adherence to the budget for these areas, direct oversight of billing activity of Camden OR, Camden OR Scheduling and Board Secretaries and oversight of perioperative payroll.  - This individual co-chairs Value Analysis Committee, develops and distributes all routine and ad hoc reporting for perioperative areas, creates and maintains efficiency and quality reports for the perioperative areas, assesses onboarding needs for new surgeons, participates in negotiating contracts and provides project management for facilities projects and performance improvement initiatives working in concert with clinical perioperative colleagues. - Develops Capital plan for all hospital based cost centers (excluding Trauma Support), scorecard completion, and coordinates ranking process and tracks all capital purchasing activity from request through delivery.  - Monitors inventory practices/flows in conjunction with Supply Chain to ensure OR resources are spent responsibly.
