**$10,000 Sign On Bonus**   The Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist performs a variety of clinical, logistical, and operational functions to streamline care for oncology patients at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper. The functions include but are not limited to: - Collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams to propose best treatment practices in accordance with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guidelines and primary literature - Provides clinical pharmacy services for oncology patients, including patient counseling, selection of appropriate therapies, monitoring parameters and frequency of monitoring, management of adverse effects, and identification/ management of drug-drug interactions - Deliver new oncology therapy in-services to the oncology healthcare team - Lead hematology/oncology pharmacology and therapeutics lectures for hematology/oncology fellow physicians - Navigate oncology drug shortages, including recommendation of alternative therapies when appropriate - Precept pharmacy residents and students on ambulatory oncology elective rotation - Build treatment plans for chemotherapy regimens into EPIC and partake in necessary workflows to add new oncolytic agents to hospital formulary - Actively participate in oncology pharmacy & therapeutics (P&T) subcommittee and hospital P&T committee meetings - Assist with medication acquisition for oral and injectable oncolytic therapies, including prior authorizations, appeal letters, and peer-to-peer reviews - Identify and complete patient care quality improvement projects - Assist with policy development with regards to oncology patient care

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to outpatient consultative ultrasound offices (7 sites), inpatient service coverage of our 9-bedded antepartum unit, coverage of high-risk OB clinic (1/2 day each week), and resident/student education.  There are also multiple opportunities for involvement with our 10-year-old Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (112 students/year). Cooper University Hospital is a regional perinatal center that is the major referral center for Southern New Jersey.  Cooper University Hospital receives approximately 150 maternal transports per year and performs 2000 deliveries each year.  In addition, we have a 25 bed Level III NICU and 6 full-time Neonatologists.   Nurse Navigator I - Neurology The Ambulatory Neurology Nurse Navigator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for Neurology patients across several offices.   The RN in this position is responsible for non-patient facing nursing care to include telephone triage, care coordination of complex conditions and partnering with provider colleagues in the provision of care excellence.  Additionally, this RN serves as resource to LPNs in their provision of non-patient facing care. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. Experience in Neurology preferred.   Supports, educates and assists patients and their families, serves as a patient advocate.  25% Demonstrates effective teamwork as a member of the interdisciplinary care team, fostering and exemplifying a culture of respect. The OB/Gyn Nocturnist will be one of two in house attendings responsible for care.  In addition to clinical proficiency, the ideal candidate should be skilled in the scholarship of teaching and be able to work with students/residents/patients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.The Ob/Gyn Nocturnist will play an active role in the education of medical students and residents. The physician will work in cooperation with the faculty and attending physicians within and across departments to provide quality care to private and service patients. Involvement in department, hospital and medical school activities is encouraged. The Ob/Gyn Nocturnist is expected to model and educate evidence-based practice, and participate and educate trainees in performance improvement, quality and patient safety. Employment includes an academic appointment with Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, commensurate with academic and research experience.
